Newtown, CT
In 1998, Newtown, Connecticut, seeing the success of their neighbor Danbury, saw that the assignment of otherwise unproductive delinquent tax liens as a way to address some immediate town needs. The Town was looking to replace aged fire equipment as well as getting some assistance in dealing with a temporary budget deficit. ATF was able to respond rapidly to bridge the Town′s request. The relationship, established over 5 years ago, has continued as Newtown has come to rely on ATF′s quiet professionalism and has made their collections of delinquent accounts a little more efficient, thanks to ATF.
