October 8, 2007  -  Delinquent Tax Payers Can Pay Their Tax Online!


On Monday, October 8, 2007, American Tax Funding Servicing empowered delinquent tax payers to pay their tax online!   By partnering with "Official Payments Corporation", ATFS has opened the door of convenience to tax payers seeking to redeem liens on their property by credit card payment.   This feature compliments the online payoff quotes feature making it easier for the tax payer to redeem their tax quickly.


May 1, 2007  -  City of Schenectady “Completed Audit Shows City’s Second Consecutive Surplus”

On Monday, April 16, 2007, the Mayor’s Office announced the results of the 2006 fiscal year audit, citing the City’s partnership with ATF as a contributing factor in its improved financial condition.  “Since 2004, Schenectady has sold more than $19 million in property tax liens to American Tax Funding to provide millions in additional revenue and significantly improving the city’s tax collection rate”.  The City finished fiscal 2006 with an $8.1 million budget surplus and anticipates zero borrowing for 2007. August 17, 2004 - ATF Buys Tax Delinquencies to Help the City of Schenectady, NY

The City of Schenectady and American Tax Funding accomplished a major feat in starting the City back on the road to Financial independence. Governor Pataki signed into law, legislation that would allow the City to realize immediate cash for it's delinquent taxes, some of which went as far back as into the early 90's. By choosing ATF as their partner, the city received over $8,000,000.00 in two fundings.
